“But not just any coffee shop,” he said, ” I used to work at Unilever, in the tea division, so I know my teas, and our coffee is shipped in whole bean from our roaster in New Jersey, we do the grinding ourselves.”
Fresh and natural is the theme of all the items he sells. The baked goods are brought in fresh every morning.
“There are no drinks with high fructose corn syrup, my foods and drinks are organic, healthy,” he said proudly.
“I grew up here, went to Oceanside schools, and I am hiring local people,” Ubaid continued, “I am still looking to hire more staff.” Rebuilding the space was a lot of work, he said, and he still has some problems to work out, but he is very enthusiastic about his new venture.
